Tasks
Goals, scored challenges, and objectives for participants to complete
Drag the Camera
Drag the CamCapture one frame using intentional camera movement (panning) during a 1/4 to 1/2 second exposure. The moving subject — a cyclist, a tram, a person crossing the square — should read sharp where it matters. The background should blur into directional streaks.era
Light in Motion
Find a moving light source — car headlights, tram lights, a cyclist's lamp, an illuminated sign mid-cycle — and shoot a 2 to 10 second exposure that turns the light into a trail. The trail should read as a continuous line, not a stuttered blur. Tripod or stable surface required.
Blue Hour Stillness
Shoot one long exposure (4 to 30 seconds) at full blue hour where the only blur in the frame comes from people, water, or clouds. Buildings, signs, and stationary subjects must read sharp. ND filter optional.
