Welcome to VisionArise
These Terms are an agreement between you and VisionArise for use of the platform, including creating or attending events, uploading or transferring photos, optional third-party community links (for example chat platforms) when an organizer provides them, and payments. They apply whether you use a full account, guest access, or public registration where available. By using VisionArise, you agree to these Terms.
Parts of the service rely on third-party providers (for example Stripe, WorkOS, Google Maps, and analytics); those providers have their own terms and privacy notices.
Summary of main topics
Accounts & Eligibility
Keep your credentials secure. You represent that you are at least 18 years old to create or manage events; additional eligibility rules may apply in the product. Misuse or fraud may result in suspension.
Content & IP
You retain rights to your photos and content. You grant VisionArise a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process your content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform, subject to our Privacy Policy. Do not upload infringing content.
Acceptable Use
No harassment, illegal activity, scraping, automated abuse, or security probing. Respect other attendees and organizers.
Events & Organizers
Organizers must provide accurate event information, honor bookings (including cancellations or changes communicated to attendees in line with applicable law), comply with local laws, and handle attendee data in line with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws where they apply.
Payments & Fees
- Payments are processed via Stripe; card and PCI payment data stays with Stripe.
- Pricing, refunds, and chargebacks may depend on the event organizer, these Terms, Stripe's services, and what is shown at checkout—check each event and organizer policy.
- Chargebacks, payment disputes, or suspected fraud may lead to account review or suspension.
Privacy & Data Protection
- Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect (PostHog analytics, WorkOS authentication, Stripe payments, Google Maps) and how we use it.
- You may export or request deletion of your data from Account Settings where available; you can also contact us for access or other requests. We generally respond within 30 days, subject to identity verification and legal retention obligations.
- Organizers who access attendee data for their events generally act as independent controllers; where we process personal data on an organizer's documented instructions, we offer a Data Processing Agreement (summary below; a signed DPA governs when executed).
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
The bullets below summarise a Data Processing Agreement for organizers who need us to process attendee data on their behalf. A signed DPA provided by VisionArise prevails over this summary if they differ.
- Subject Matter: attendee management, communications, analytics.
- Duration: for the term of your organizer account or event.
- Data types may include name, email, event registration data, attendance status, and photos or other submissions you upload or transfer.
- Our obligations: process per instructions, apply security measures, assist with data subject requests, delete/return data on termination.
- Subprocessors include PostHog (analytics), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and WorkOS (auth). Ask us for the current list; we handle material changes as required by applicable law.
Termination
You may request account deletion at any time from Account Settings; we process deletion in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law, and may retain certain records where required (for example payments or legal compliance). We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, fraud, or legal requirements.
